If you're not already logged into the site, it will ask you to log in first, then take you straight to the style you requested.

New Home Page
We've put together a more polished "landing page" (sometimes referred to as a homepage) for www.robertabbey.com. We'll be making more fine-tuning adjustments and style improvements to our site over the coming months - our goal is to have the most polished, user friendly, useful website in the lighting industry. If you have any suggestions, complaints, issues, or other helpful feedback - be sure to send them to us! (systems@robertabbey.com) We enjoy hearing from you.
Find us on Facebook
Two of our newest team members, Jake and Sarah, have put together the Robert Abbey Facebook page. You can find a link at the bottom of every page on our website. Visit it often to stay up to date on our shows, latest designs, and media events (this month one of our Devon Ceramic styles is on the cover of Country Living.)

Close-outs and best buys
We have added a link to 'close-outs and best buys' on the customer home page. This will show you the inventory we have ready to ship of styles that are discontinued or soon to be discontinued, at special close out pricing.

The bottom line
We have added price on the style browser page (the page where you see a list of styles and images) to help you more quickly decide if a given style is right for your order. Before, you had to click into the style detail page to see the price. Look for the price below the 'add to cart' button.

Just the data, please...
We've added a price sheet (with additional data, such as UPC's and replacement shade prices) under the Price Sheets page - in Excel .xls format - which you can use to import into other programs.

If you change your mind...
Several customers have asked that orders submitted over the web be changed (items added or removed.) You can do this yourself - just click the 'my pending web orders' link on the customer home page. Click the order you want to change. You can add items, change quantities, remove items (by changing quantity to 0, and clicking update quantities) or cancel the entire order (by entering 'cancel' in the cancel box, then clicking the 'cancel order' link.) After web orders are processed (at which time they will disappear from your 'my pending web orders') you will have to contact us to get the order changed.

Print it fast!...
To print tear sheets (cut sheets) and instruction sheets rapidly, by entering a series of style #'s, just click the 'Speed Print Tear Sheets and Instruction Sheets' on your customer home page. You can enter any style # and click a button for the tear sheet or instructions (if available) and print it directly from the speed printing page - or download the .pdf for your files.
I'm not THAT forgettable!
If you have trouble getting the new website to remember your login (even after checking the 'remember me' check box) don't be alarmed - at present, we are updating the site on a daily (sometimes hourly) basis, and this can cause a website built on the Microsoft Asp.net platform to lose it's settings. Keep putting a check mark in the 'remember me' check box and bear with us...
Share with a friend
It's quick and easy to copy someone on a style you find on robertabbey.com - just click the 'email' link at the top of the style detail page. This opens an email panel where you can enter an email address and message. When you click 'send' your friend will receive the description of the style, the catalog image shown on the page, and the dimensions drawing.
Skip the shopping cart
Those of you who are familiar with our style #'s can skip browsing and clicking 'add to cart' - you can go straight to the check out page, scroll to the bottom, and start adding styles directly to the order form. We have made the online order form as similar as possible to a paper order form. Let us know what you think of this feature. Also, any suggestions you may have on how to make your shopping experience easier on robertabbey.com - let us know: systems@robertabbey.com.
Was that a dog I heard barking?
If you hear a dog barking in the background when you call our office and design studio, it's probably Kylie (who works with Allan) but not necessarily - this is a very dog friendly environment. To see Kylie, just enter 'kylie' in the search box after you log in.

Inquiring minds want to know...
Curious about an order or invoice? You can quickly inquire about order status, invoices, and parts orders - by clicking the 'inquire' link at the top of the order page, invoice and part order pages. This will open an email panel right in the page - just fill in your message and click 'send' - your message will go straight to the Customer Care person who can best assist you.
Need More Details?
Shade dimensions? Weight when packed? We have tried to keep our Style detail page such that it can be printed on a single sheet, giving you a quick printout with product description, photo, and dimensions drawing. More information was needed for many of our styles. To address this we have put a 'more information...' link on the right hand side, below the UPC number. Click this link to see more information about the style you are viewing (shade dimensions, etc.)

Welcome to Our New Website
Our new website launched on Thanksgiving morning. Not surprisingly, about 100 of our registered customers logged in and shopped that day. The objective of our website's redesign has been user friendliness and ease of access. We want it to be irresistably easy for our valued customers to find the styles they need, place orders for those styles online, and then track their orders as they move through our system, factory and warehouse.
